- 20+ years of experience in financial, accounting and human resources management at privately held, entrepreneurial companies with over $100 million in sales.
- Successful management of business growth and expansion.
- A history of career growth and responsibility.
- Experience in manufacturing and the consumer electronics industry will be highly preferred.
- International business experience in Mexico, preferably with maquiladoras.
- Finance and ERP system implementation and management experience; a strong background with Infor LN and Lawson ERP Systems will be a plus.
- A history of identifying and implementing cost savings.
- Experience with the management of network systems and infrastructure.
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft programs; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, etc.
- Familiarity with corporate risk and financial modeling and projections.
- The ability to establish and execute long term financial objectives to support company growth.
- A background in mergers and acquisitions.
- Internet marketing experience.
- Hands-on and detail oriented management style.
- Proven track record of leadership in motivating and inspiring employees.
- Tech savvy – understands and takes advantage of current technology.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- The ability to thrive in challenging and demanding business environments.

The Role
Reporting directly to the President and CEO, as the CFO you will be responsible for the overall finance and accounting functions for Sohnen Enterprises. You’ll oversee the Corporate Controller, who manages the finance divisions in Mexico and the U.S. We will look to you to help consolidate and bring synergy to the financial business practices between Mexico and the U.S. You’ll help develop and drive processes and procedures that unify the functions across the two divisions. You’ll work closely with a variety of key contacts including the HR Director, Sales team, COO, CIO, and others.
Along with providing strategic input in the executive decision making process, you'll take a hands on approach to the day-to-day activities of finance and accounting.
